A township is an inclusive cluster of residential and commercial buildings with the accompanying infrastructure such as internal roads, schools, hospitals, gardens, convenience shopping and other scale-of-the-art amenities - in short all things that enhance the quality of life. There is a dearth of residential options in fast growing cities like Noida. Major cities including Noida are expanding the boundaries and integrated township developments seem to be the answer. With longer distances to traverse to work, customers these days prefer to the reside in an area that has everything they need for a good lifestyle, from spacious homes, schools and cinema halls - all in stone’s throw distance.
“Townships at Noida are the Next big thing in the Indian real estate development industry; it seems, with a quit growth in the number of township developments projects that merge in a lot of things to make grand realty project successful and sustainable. As land prices peak in key cities and basic infrastructure lag to balance with increasing populace, real estate developers are building cities away from the city to facilitate better quality lifestyles. If properly planned and executed, integrated townships are definitely the answer to India’s growing housing woes, because they are efficient vehicles of social integration, offering the needed infrastructure,” said Neeraj Gulati, MD, Assotech Realty Pvt Ltd.
“The concept of integrated township in Noida is well accepted by the developers active at their different realty destination such as Greater Noida West, Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway etc. These integrated townships are being developed in such a way that these are self sustainable and would not depend on the government for most the amenities,” said Manoj Kumar Singh, Director, Mangalya Group.
“Area on Noida Expressway, Greater Noida West and Yamuna Expressway are afew hotspots where integrated townships are coming up. Prices have seen a decent appreciation in these areas. Better infrastructure and improved connectivity have also spurted the growth of such projects. All these factors have contributed in the development of these townships,” said Manoj Agarwal, President, CREDAI, NCR.
